Derick Jordan came up with a great little cardio drill. You spend 12 minutes running through it nonstop, then rest for 12 minutes. We went through 3 rotations that day and you will definitely feel the burn by the end of the last one.
We setup a target and kept moving between bunkers working on our snapshot at different distances. We started off with a 2 ball snap at long distances and then worked down closer in smaller bunkers with a one ball snap. I liked some of the movement in this drill because of the awkward run sideways and backwards that happens quite often in games. I doubt many people practice it but it’s definitely a good skill to have when you have to fill back in a game.
