So you can beat most your friends in a foot race but as soon as you put a loaded pack on and a paintball gun in your hand you are slower than a back player? Don’t worry; you’re not the only one.
Here is an awesome exercise you can perform at the gym that is great for beginners to build leg strength. It’s called the hack squat. I’m a huge fan of this machine because it does not put pressure on your lower lumbar spine like the leg press machine and it is in a controlled environment unlike the free weight squat. This machine will target all of the leg muscles such as the quads, hamstrings, glutes and calves.
Perform 3-5 sets with a rep range of 15-20 in each set. Pick a weight that will allow you to perform that many sets.
Wouldn't it be a good idea to create a course?
