One of the biggest mistakes I see up and coming divisional players make; the gumption to commit to a shooting lane and then successfully survive off the break. Most are too worried about surviving they unsuccessfully shoot a good lane and then end up dying themselves. When our coach calls for us to drop into these deadzones to shoot a lane, we must commit to it so his gameplan can work. Remember, on most fields, you killing a snake or dorito runner is a much more important kill than if you die out of the center. It’s a trade the coach anticipates and it’s a risk he’s willing to take….if you commit to the shot and get the kill!
Wouldn't it be a good idea to create a course?
