To do this is one of my favorite all time drills. I love 1v1’s and this adds a little foot race to the beginning. It’s just like the conditioning 1v1 drill.
For this drill you start on the start on the other side of the field, tag up at the start box, and play the side you are running to. If you lack speed, this may motivate you to gain some because you’ll spend most of these 1v1’s dominated off the break.
Things to Remember During 1v1’s
– Keep your eyes on your opponent
– If you need to swab your barrel, don’t look down to do it. Swab without looking
